Pi-Hole

Pi-Hole is a DNS server that blocks ads and trackers. It is used by the Lafayette and Bedford sites.

Lafayette

In Lafayette, Pi-hole runs on voile and is configured to use yukari as an upstream DNS server. This allows for ad-blocking and filtering of malicious domains while maintaining a local registry of hostnames via DHCP’s resolution. Yukari in turn, is configured to advertise the Pi-hole as a DNS server to the network via DHCP.

Bedford

In Bedford, Pi-hole runs on bedford-media-macmini and is configured without special upstream servers.
