Forgejo (Gitea)#

The voile mirror runs Forgejo, the community fork of Gitea. This page and its URL keep the historical gitea name, and the Homer tile (modules/nixos/homer/default.nix) and topology node (modules/topology/default.nix) still label it “Gitea”; every other doc calls it the Forgejo mirror. Same service.

It is a self-hosted git service, a lightweight alternative to GitLab and GitHub.

It is located on voile.

Gitea runs on the voile Synology DS1621+ NAS and is not managed by this flake. It hosts the nix-flake-final repository used as the binary cache’s flake source (master.tar.gz).
